Services & Specialty Programs

Michigan Universal Physical Therapy, specializes in Manual Therapy and Mobilization Techniques for musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular & cardiac conditions.

We are happy to inform you that our practice provides therapy by one of the most recent modalities for pain management; Cold Laser and Light Therapy. The response from our patients is positive and the result of the treatment was excellent especially in treating pain associated with cases carpal tunnel syndrome, planter fasciitis, lateral and medial epicondylitis, myofescial pain and trigger point, post surgical pain and helping healing many wounds.

Therapeutic massage offers many medical benefits and is one of the best methods to relieve stress, muscle tension, muscle pain, stiffness, joint aches and pains. Through manipulation of the muscles and tissues, massage therapy increases circulation, sending oxygen throughout the body. This helps to loosen the muscles, improve muscle tone, and increase flexibility. Therapeutic massage also helps in the recover before and after joint surgery. The physiological results of massage therapy are astounding, including a reduction in pain, faster muscle recovery during sports and fitness activities, and a more balanced, relaxed body. Using a variety of strokes and different modalities the therapist can usually provide a significant amount of relief in this one-hour session, and even greater relief after a few treatments when obtained consistently. Includes Consultation with Needs Assessment.
